Blessed Be Your Name the Songs of Matt Redman, Vol. 1

This reminds me of the dreams I have when I have a high fever...

Just look at it...faces, birds, dogs, fish...it's creepy, yet astoundingly creative.

Speaking of sleeping...apparently I might have a sleeping disorder!! Haha, Yeah yeah, I know, I know. You're thinking, "no way! Sarah is completely normal and is in no way a freak." I must tell you, however, that this actually may not be the case...I might actually be slightly weird, maybe a tad bit crazy, and possibly 43. I doubt the last one...but juuuust maybe. Anyways, my grandmother has a sleeping disorder, and it's something that runs in the family...I wish cool stuff like sprouting wings and flying ran in the family (anyone going to see X3 soon? I just saw the trailer at Sam's house tonight, and I think I might go to see it sometime). Ah well, I suppose I will never grow wings, no matter how much spinach I eat. So I will content myself with standing on my bed in my sleep and dreaming that I can fly. he he.

I have to get going, I need to be at work early tomorrow. Goodnight and God bless.

Hey Friends,

I am a sophomore in college!! So wierd!

Anyways, being home has been really nice and very relaxing. I got a new and better job at Greenfield Inn. Yay, no more Applebee's!! I am also going to continue my job as a banquet server.

Since I have been home I have been able to rest, hang out with friends and family, read, and do some art projects. I went to Philly on Saturday to visit my roommate. We had a wonderful time visiting her old school, house and we got to eat sushi (I guess I should let all you from Lancaster know...I likes my fish rrrraaawww). It's kind of weird at first, but you should all at least try it.  On Mother's Day I spent the day with my mom...of course...and my dad put some steaks on the grill (oooooh man, I haven't had steak in so long! It was bliss. haha). Then today I took Steven and James to the Baltimore Aquarium for a field trip (they're homeschooled). So much fun watching fish...swim, circle...after circle. hehe, no really, I had a really good time. God's creativity never ceases to amaze me! The variety of colors, shapes, sizes...that geeky looking fish with the eyes stuck together at the top of its head (yeah, I think that was my favorite...I'm serious). The dolphin show was a blast, AND we stayed dry!! YES! I think the best part of the trip, though, was probably either making up songs on the way down to the tunes of familiar kids songs, or eating gelato with "delicate spoons." Hehe, inside joke...you wouldn't understand.

Anyway, I am going to head off to do something productive...like knit or read........oooor watch a movie...and knit, at the same time. Multi-tasking. If any of ya'll (<-- I learned that in the South) want to do something, just give a call.

God bless, Sarahbell

Okay...so here's my update for the year... hehe

Life at Covenant goes well. It has been snowing on and off for the past couple of days, and that makes me extremely happy.

It reminds me of home, when I would sit in the big bay window watching the cottonballs float to the ground, blanketing my neighborhood. I loved watching the weather report with my siblings, waiting eagerly for the warning beep to sound and to see the blue strip slide across the screen informing all of Lancaster to prepare for a showering of snow. The pure, clean, and gentle snow would begin to fall, my dad would light the fireplace and the woodstove, while my mom would fix something warm for us to drink. The family would cozy together and stay up late talking and playing games; fingers crossed in hopes that the snow would win the battle against the plow trucks, and that school would be cancelled.

In other news...I hope classes are delayed tomorrow ( haha...*fingers crossed*).

In other other news, my surgery is scheduled for March 9th. So I hope to visit all of you PA people sometime between March 5th and 8th!!! My knee hasn't given me too much of a problem...only a couple more weeks to go, though.

Classes have been very interesting...in a good way. They aren't all easy, but for the most part, I enjoy each one. I'm especially excited about my art class! The astronomy course is difficult, but I really do enjoy it.

I must be going now. I am quite tired. I love you all, and I look forward to seeing you again.

God bless, Sarahbell

P.S. I went Polar Bearing!! What a thrilling experience, and I say everyone should try it once in their lifetime. Preferable before you are 86...I wouldn't want you to get a heart attack from the shock. haha.

Psalm 33:5-9 "He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathered the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of he world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast."

20th Century Masters: The Best Of The Mamas & The Papas (Millennium Collection)

Hey Guys, I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

I am very happy to be home with caring friends and family. I have really enjoyed spending time with them, and then resting, reading, and knitting when I'm not visiting someone.

My Christmas was lovely. We went to church, then came home and opened gifts. (After my mom and dad left, J-D and I set up two of those ginormous blow-up Christmas decorations in the front yard as a gag gift. It was hilarious...but my mom has now informed us that that won't be the last time we see them...Birthday's, Graduations, Weddings, Baby Showers...and so on and so forth for years and years to come...aahhhhh!) For Christmas I got an adorable latch-hook pillow that my little brother Steven made for me, I got the Mamas and the Papas from Katie, a really neat paper crafts book from my mom, and an iPod from my mom and dad. I got some other cool stuff, but those were my favorites.

Well, I'm pretty bored right now. I got strep throat Christmas night...but I went to the doctor yesterday and got some medicine, so I'm finally on the mend. Hopefully I'll be up and about by tomorrow.

I have to get going now. I hope that the rest of your break goes well!! God bless,

Sarahbell

hey guys,

im alive!! Wow, it has been really cool here the past couple of days. We have had a fog storm (if you can have a fog storm....), and an ice storm.

The ice storm was simply amazing. Everything was glass, and when the wind blew, the plastic-looking bush leaves would tinkle. The fog rolled in then, and I'm quite sure that one of those black horsemen from the LOTR was about the appear out of the fog before me with a swirl of fog behind.

Okay, got to go now. Finals next week!!! Ahhhhh!
